La Cianella

The Agritourism La Cianella is 200 m above sea level in the Maremma near Grosseto, on the slopes of Monte d’Alma. It is just a ten-minute walk from the old town of Scarlino with the medieval castle of Aldobrandeschi, the noble family that since the ninth century played an important part in the history of Tuscany. A few kilometres from the Agritourism La Cianella you arrive at the nature reserve of Bandite di Scarlino with its typical steep and rugged coastline, the Gulf of Follonica and the spectacular white sandy beach of Cala Violina. You can choose between the sea, the plains and hills and follow the tracks by bike, on foot or horseback.

The owners have inherited the love for Tuscany and a real  passion for the Maremma from their parents, since the end of the ’60s.  “We fell in love with this land, to some extent so wild and genuine, with a climate that remains mild even in autumn and the perfect combination of countryside and sea. Over the years all this has stirred up in us the desire for a better quality of life. Being immersed in nature while we carry out an activity that allows us to have social contacts is always something new, offering fun and relaxation for people on holiday  is truly inspiring. We started refurbishing the farm on August 1, 2011. Soon the results were evident, thanks to our friends and acquaintances and the web, to our great satisfaction.” Agritourism La Cianella perfectly fits into the natural environment, typical of the Maremma Toscana with stone walls and a harmonic and vivid profile, surrounded by olive groves and with a great panorama of the countryside.

Twelve rooms and a small appartment, all different and spread over four floors with independent entrance and private outdoor area: plain white or wood colour furniture, wrought iron beds, upholstered or canopy for incurable romantics, different colours for the floors in each floor. Rooms, double, twin or connecting for holidays in Maremma in couple, with friends or your family, transmit passion, territory nature, love for details, all aspects that make you feel like at home. In the warm months, the large pool is certainly an attraction, and there is also a tennis court. The panoramic terrace with tables and iron chairs is ideal for a hearty breakfast, a drink at sunset or a typical maremman dinner during high season.
