Lake Bolsena, the largest volcanic lake in Europe, is characterized by the presence of two islands, the Martana and Bisentina, populated since the Bronze Age and which you can explore by a special boat service. Its coasts consist of a series of peninsulas and headlands, beaches, fields and forests, dotted with historic villages visible along the slopes of the Volsini mountains. You will be able to visit the stunning basilica Santa Cristina in Bolsena and the splendid lakefront , the archaeological nature park of Turona,the Cathedral of Santa Margherita and other beauties of the area such as Acquapendente, Civita di Bagnoregio, Orvieto, Pitigliano and Viterbo.

La Casa di Agartha is situated on the second floor of the Palazzo Mazziotti, once the eponymous winery that was built in the second half of the 19th century, close to the Etruscan-Roman ruins of the temple of the Goddess Northia. According to ancient legend, Agartha was the name of an advanced underground civilization, where spiritually evolved and enlightened beings dwelt in a peaceful, wise place. Stories say that right in Lake Bolsena, on the island “Bisentina,” considered sacred by the Etruscans is hidden one of the gates to this world.
This facility has been furnished over the years with Italian and French nineteenth-century period furniture, the result of painstaking research; however, this ancient atmosphere is complemented by modern technologies and comforts.It has 4 rooms – Corallo, Smeraldo, Aurum, Ambra – each of which is furnished with fine materials, is cozy in its uniqueness. Guests can enjoy, on exclusive basis, a mini-spa with a Jacuzzi for two people and a Turkish bath with emotional shower.
