The area of Aosta has already been inhabited since prehistoric times. In 202 B.C. Among the buildings that are worth visiting, we have the Castle of Introd, rebuilt between 1912 and 1915, with its mighty tower, then the fortified mansion of Vorbert and the ancient farmstead l’Ola. The parrish church, dated back to the Ninth Century and the Chapel of the Holy Shroud are both located in Plan d’Introd.
Of particular value, then, is the visit to the Ethnographic Museum of Maison Bruil, a valuable example of rural architecture, the current shape of which is the outcome of a complex architectural evolution that occurred between 1680 and 1856.
