Rifugio La Montanara

Located in Molveno, on the Pradel plateau, within the Adamello Brenta Natural Park in Trentino Alto Adige, the Rifugio La Montanara is a real piece of paradise, where you can live moments of absolute relaxation immersed in the enchanting atmosphere of the Brenta Dolomites. By staying at the Rifugio la Montanara, you will be immersed in a place where silence, harmony and wellbeing reign supreme, also ideal for children who will enjoy experiencing the magic of the mountain through sports and activities in nature.

Born from the passion for the mountains of the Sartori family, the lodge has been active since 1973 and for over forty years the Sartori family has hosted countless guests in accordance with its cornerstones: tradition and respect for the land. The structure looks like an elegant mountain cabin, with wooden furniture in rustic style, a bar, a restaurant and a wonderful common room where there is an enchanting fireplace ideal place to relax while reading a good book. The Rifugio la Montanara consists of eight units, all equipped with the best comforts to make you live a unique experience. Each room has a private bathroom, wi-fi and also offers special services for the most demanding customers: in fact, inside each room you can breathe the true spirit of the Alps thanks to the wonderful terraces that offer beautiful views of the Dolomites and the Paganella Plateau. It also has a magnificent restaurant where you can enjoy chopping boards with a rich selection of cheeses and sliced meats of the Trentino tradition, fresh homemade pasta every day, as well as the famous handmade polenta on the wood fire.

You can reach the Rifugio La Montanara in different ways, it depends on the period you decide to visit it. During summer you can arrive in front of the door of Rifugio by car (the room reservation allows you to pass). Most adventurous can opt for the path which can be travelled by foot or bike. You can also leave your car at the “Val Biole” parking and use the TaxiRifugi free service to reach the Rifugio. You can also take the chairlift from the town of Molveno. During winter, by leaving your car at “Val Biole” carpark, you get to the Refuge by snowcat. Alternatively, reach it by snowshoe or cross country-ski. Another original way is to take the chairlift from Molveno.
