SAN CANDIDO
In San Candido you can visit the complex of the Collegiata of San Candido, built in 1043, it is a perfect example of the Romanesque style of South Tyrol. Among the many works of art there are the frescoes by Michael Pacher.
The Dolomythos Museum is dedicated to the natural wealth of the Dolomites, from dinosaurs, to the search of treasures and gold discoveries. Among the museum’s pathways we’ll know the origin and evolution of the Dolomites that led to the formation of these mountains, considered among the most beautiful in the world.

DOBBIACO
Walking through the old town center of Dobbiaco you can visit the famous Red Tower, built in 1430. Then there’s the Herbst Castle or Castle Herbstenburg. The Red Tower and the castle are connected by an underground passageway and are part of the same system of fortification.
In Dobbiaco there’s the oldest Via Crucis of Tyrol, called “Mount Calvary”. The stops of the via crucis are arranged along the streets of the village and the news stands are decorated with bas-reliefs depicting scenes from the Passion of Christ. The Via Crucis of Dobbiaco is as long as that of Jerusalem.
BRUNICO
In Brunico we find the Church of the Assumption or the parish church of Santa Maria Assunta. It was built in the fourteenth century thanks to the expansion of a small existing chapel. The changes of the sixteenth century have given it the Gothic style and the new renovations in the nineteenth century have added the neo Romanesque style.
The castle of Brunico was built in 1251, among its rooms we can visit the bishop’s rooms that offer panoramic views over the town. The furniture and furnishings are date back to the twentieth century and the walls are finely decorated. The castle also includes a chapel, built in the early twentieth century in Gothic style. Above the altar are depicted scenes from the life of Mary and Jesus.

SESTO
In Sesto we can visit the Great War Museum. It is an outdoor museum with streets, stations, tunnels, base camps, trenches and camps that the soldiers built to survive the battles and at the same time to defend themselves from the snow and cold that characterizes these areas. The museum is dedicated to the soldiers, their inventiveness and their sacrifice and at the same time is a way to learn about the natural beauty of the area.
CAPPELLA DEGLI ALPINI
The Three Peaks of Lavaredo are among the most famous peaks of the Dolomites and known throughout the world. From up there you can enjoy a breathtaking view, and there are many climbers who want to reach them. Here we can visit the Chapel of the Alpini, or Chapel of the three peaks, a small church dedicated to the Alpine troops died in the mountains, a remote and picturesque place. The church has a simple structure with a sloping roof and a small bell, with white walls.
