CORTONA
In Cortona you can visit the fascinating Etruscan Museum, located in Palazzo Casali, includes priceless collections. A guided tour will take you to discover the history of the Etruscans and Romans in this territory, through documents and objects, bronze masterpieces, funerary objects. The Museum is coordinated with the Archaeological Park of Cortona.
In the Diocesan Museum, there are several works of art, the most important is The Annunciation by Beato Angelico, a painting dating back to the fifteenth century. The scene represents the angel and the Virgin in a space in Renaissance style surrounded by Corinthian columns.

The Cortona Cathedral, or Cathedral of Santa Maria Assunta, dates back to the eleventh century, as evidenced by the medieval Romanesque facade. The interior is in the Renaissance style, with the space divided into three naves by two rows of columns, the church houses numerous works of art, including the painting The Adoration of the Shepherds by Pietro da Cortona.
LUCIGNANO
In Lucignano, you can visit the Town Hall, built in the thirteenth century. It is characterized by walls made of visible stone and the remains of an ancient mechanical clock on the facade. Inside the building there’s Municipal Museum which houses beautiful paintings, wooden sculptures and frescoes dating back to the fifteenth century. One of the most important works is the Golden Tree, or Tree of Life. Made of copper and silver, decorated with crystals and corals, is a tree of 12 branches which ends with a small crucifix. A work of rare beauty.
AREZZO
The Cathedral of Arezzo, the Cathedral of the Saints Peter and Donato, has a neo-Gothic facade built in the twentieth century. Behind the main altar, we find the Ark of San Donato, meticulously decorated with arches, columns and spires. On the left nave we can admire La Maddalena, famous work by Piero della Francesca.

Not far from the town we can visit the Medicea Fortress, inserted in a medieval complex dating back to the tenth century in a strategic position to dominate the surrounding territory. The walls and the ramparts are well preserved and the surrounding park is a great panoramic point.
The Town Hall or Palazzo dei Priori was built in the mid-fourteenth century. Its square tower and battlements on the cornices preserve the medieval charm of this impressive building.
The Palazzo delle Logge Vasari is a sixteenth-century building located in the Piazza Grande. Its beautiful gallery is 125 meters long and was built to protect the palace.
MONTEPULCIANO
The town of Montepulciano preserves the medieval old town centre and the walls, a town famous for its wine, offers many points of interest like the Cathedral dating back to the sixteenth century, the Nobili-Tarugi Palace, and the Natural Reserve of the Lake of Montepulciano.
CASTIGLION FIORENTINO
In Castiglion Fiorentino, we can walk through the beautiful Town Hall Square, framed by the Logge of Vasari, through which we also have a panoramic view of the valley of Chio.
